2019 World Day of Prayer for CEF and children

Join us for CEF's World Day of Prayer!

It is tradition that Child Evangelism Fellowship sets aside the first Wednesday in November as World Day of Prayer. On this date the staff and volunteers in the CEF family suspend their routine responsibilities to spend a full day in prayer. This special day is spent interceding for the children of the world and the workers called to bring them the Gospel.

Missionary Mary Slessor wrote, “Prayer is the greatest power God has put into our hands for service – praying is harder than doing, at least I find it so, but the dynamic lies that way to advance the Kingdom.”

Will you join us in praying this November 6th?  We realize you may not be able to spend the whole day in prayer . . . but would you set aside 30 minutes (or more) to take the children and children's workers before God's throne?  We'd like to fill most of the day (5:00AM to 11:00PM) with prayer. No need to go anywhere--simply pray where you are.

Let us know you'll pray with us by registering for this event. You'll be asked for your email so that we can send you a prayer guide closer to November 6.  Then choose the time slot(s) when you'd like to pray from the sessions listed.  We've limited the number of slots available in each time session to encourage you, our prayer warriors, to fill the day with prayer. If, however, the session that works best for you is full, just select it and allow the system to add you to the "wait list."  We'll expand that session to open a slot to accomodate you.  The prayer guide you'll receive will include a specific list of prayer requests that range from international to national, state, local and specific Good News Club® requests.
